Welcome To Ontario Gardening

Ontario's weather ranges from cold (in the winters) to hot (in the summer) temperatures. The gardening season is relatively short ranging from early June to mid-September for most flowers.
Ontario Gardening will be a continuous source of information for Gardener's in Ontario to help them with indoor and outdoor gardening through-out the year.

In February you can plant seeds of tomato, parsley, leek, celery, celeriac, Spanish onions, globe artichokes, and cardoon. These require a long growing season in Ontario. In March, you can plant pepper seeds indoors. In late March, plant seeds of eggplants, ground cherries, herbs, and green onions indoors. Broccoli and Brussel sprouts for early planting can also be started inside.
